  Hi Canberra Mums, I'm preparing to move out of my 1st ever rental house & I'm finding it really stressful, not knowing 100% what I'm doing in regards to the final clean.. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a couple of things. 1. I have 2 bedrooms with carpets I need professionally cleaned? 2. I also need to get the house fumigated due to having a cat? Being a single mum I'd like recommendations on cheap but good & reliable people/company's that do either of these things any other suggestions on end of lease cleaning would also be greatly appreciated!   Not sure if my request is suitable for this page or not - Due to the owner of my rental suddenly wanting to sell the home, I'm left in an extremely stressful predicament where I urgently need to find a new rental by January. I am constantly checking the popular websites (Allhomes, Realestate.com & the main commercial realesate websites) with no luck. Due to being a single mum on a minimum part time wage, I am struggling to find anything available that is reasonably priced. I am looking for a 2 bedroom townhouse/unit available anywhere in Canberra/QBN. Call me picky - but I would like a home that is in a safe area & that doesn't need a heap of maintenance work done - unfortunately all of the cheaper advertised rentals in my price range are neither of the above. My questions are: What are the special circumstances that entitle a person to government housing? Are there any websites for private rentals? Does anyone know of any private rentals available? I believe I am a good tenant & I am always on top of rent/bills aswell as keeping a constantly clean & maintained home. This will be my first time living on my own with just my child as I have previously lived with family or friends. Although I am willing to move out of my comfort zones, I am looking for a safe location. If anyone can provide details for available private rentals, or any information with regards to government housing, It would be very much appreciated. Thankyou
