I need to purchase a vise for my drill press for tapping and other purposes. I am not interested in spending a small fortune. My experiences with cheaper offerings from places like Harbor Freight...
Doesn't Little Machine Shop have drill press vises or maybe they are milling machine vises. Check them out at www.LittleMachineShop.com I just went to their web site and they have vises from $14.95 to $700. Not sure of the quality but from what I see some look pretty decent, several under $100. Darryl
Hey, does anyone have a 3 jaw chuck for the prazi sd300? Mine has a collet closer, which for my needs is a liability. Can anyone help me figure out if the backplate I have is the stock bp from prazi,...
I just bought an 80 mm four jaw chuck from littlemachineshop.com and they have three jaw chucks too. They mount with short studs on the back of the chuck that protrude through the back plate and are fastened with 10 mm nuts. Check out your back plate, and you should find three holes towards center for the mounting to your spindle and another three on the outer circumference to mount your new chuck. You may find additional holes there for a four jaw as well.

First of all, Alex - check the brushes on the motor - sometimes they'll get lose and won't make good contact. Second - check the fuse - on some of the units, the power light will come on but the fuse is blown. Go to Littlemachineshop.com, under reference and there's a troubleshooting guide. After going thru that, give me a yell and we'll talk you thru this. If you go to my website, my phone numbers are there - feel free to call me and I'll help you all I can (advice is always free ) Jim RabidWolf (Uncle Rabid
