I grew up in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and attended the University of Waterloo where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. I was then accepted into the Physiotherapy program at the University of Western Ontario where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with distinction. I have spent 12 years advancing my skills in both private practice orthopedics and neurology. My love for children and interest in the nervous system led me to develop my skills in paediatrics. I have spent time in both the private and public sectors treating infants and children with various conditions. These include gross motor delay, hypotonia, torticollis, plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy and global developmental delay. I am CME (MEDEK) certified and also have training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and dynamic core stability. My experience in both orthopedics and neurology has given me an advanced understanding of human movement leading to effective treatment strategies.
