New to KC. Need to find a good mechanic. Any recommendations? Got to change rack and pinion from Honda accord.
I live near overland park but I wouldn't mind driving a bit far as long as it is reliable.

I like [hyde park auto](http://hydeparkservice.com/) - they are not the cheapest you'll find, but probably the most honest. They are also not super close to you. In other threads, [Bailey's Auto](https://www.reddit.com/r/kansascity/comments/2 myc90/joco_mechanic_wanted/cm8 w1 jy) in Olathe comes well recommended, but I have no personal experience there.
I'm sure this has been posted before but I'm going to bother everyone again for recommendations on a general car repair place in the area? Just need general maintenance at non-bend you over prices ;)
I imagine its been mentioned before, but anyone have a recomendation for a auto body shop? I need to get my car door repaired unfortunately. : /

I have used Hyde Park Service for years. They were actually recently featured on the local news for being one of the most KC companies. Good luck! http://hydeparkservice.com/
Hey Kansas City! Does anybody know of a good auto mechanic in Midtown that works on Toyotas? Mine isn't broken, but would love to not have to drive to Bluesprings to get it fixed every time.

Call Tom Keegan at Hyde Park Auto. 816.753.5754 . He's an English major who is a car doctor. Fair price, honest work and dry sense of humor. They're at 39 th and Walnut.
Car Help! Anyone know of an inexpensive/reputable place to have our car door looked at this morning? Either bent hinge and something with alignment of door after backing up and jarring it on ground. Not best way to start day.
