  Thanks for the ad !! I am looking for any information or old photos of the school/hospital that used to be on the seafront, I always thought it was called Sunshine school but google keeps taking me to Treloar Cripples Hospital. My Great Aunt worked there for many many years and lived in the ''round'' house in the grounds untill she retired in 1987 She was untill yesterday still a resident of Hayling but sadly passed away aged 95. any photos or information would be much apprieciated

  Te roundgouse was Dr Marshal's laboratory. It was he who first noticed the link between mosquitoes and malaria. It should have been listed imho. Dr Marshall lived at Seacourt.. uch more innfo on this and many other spects of island history can be found on the forum website at http://www.hayling.co.uk/forum
