If you can drive into DC to the Franciscan Monastery they have a very large artist studio in the back. An artist used to paint oil paintings of scenes inside the main church. I believe one woman uses the studio. The number is 202-526-6800. It is located at 14 th and Quincy NE. Ask for Brother John Sebastian. He also has an Italian woman on staff who speaks Italian. :-) Here's the website.
