Marcy and I are planning a trip to Virginia in late October...any suggestions on family related sites in or near Manassas we can check out? I know John Kincheloe has extensive knowledge of the area....

The Paradise Springs Winery log cabin is reputed by the Kincheloe that lives there to have been built either Cornelius the first or by his son John Kincheloe. Across the road and behind the house is the over grown foundation of the house the Daniel lived in. There is a marker for Captain Daniel Kincheloe installed by the DAR. The cemetery at that location was destroyed by Union troops who also burned the house. The only reason the cabin survived was because the troops did not know it was owned by the Kincheloe family as it was leased to another person. Access to this area is through the park. The winery's owner are very nice people and would probably be willing to talk with you if you call in advance.
