  The answer is simple- do you want a faux olive garden with food that will just fill your gut and make you feel bloated? then go to the currently top upvoted old spaghetti factory. Is your lady the type who likes to eat greasy spoon food in a dingy bar? then joekohl's suggestion of grumpys is right on the mark. But if you want to go to a delicious meal based more on spices and less on butter in a place where you will fit in with classy hip clothing take your SO to [Kindee Thai](http://www.kindeethairestaurant.com/). Right across the street, has that modern vibe so common at asian resturants, not too pricey. My girlfriend and I always love it before going to shows.
