  If it is a few squirrels then it is a mom and her babies. She will only keep them up there until they are big enough to move to her backup nest. If you can, wait her out, and then plug up the entrance hole once you are sure she has moved everyone out. Call Rideau Wildlife Sanctuary or Constance Creek Wildlife centre for advice. If you must move them out hire a humane company as it is against the law to trap wildlife and move them more than 1 km away from where they were found.
