  Cottage rentals? Can anyone out there recommend somewhere in NS to rent a cottage for a night or two? Not necessarily looking for 5-star amenities. Not really looking for a resort setting either (a la White Point). Just looking for something nice, with or without kitchen facilities, fire place would be nice, on a lake or by the ocean. Possibly kid friendly (not sure if we'll take the kids or not). Suggestions?

  [Milford House](http://milfordhouse.ca/) is pretty great. Two or three of their cabins are winterized so they can be rented year-round. It's all lake-front, and you can rent a canoe if you feel so inclined. My wife and I rent there every couple of years or so.

That is private, has a fire pit and can accommodate 6-8 women? Needs to be in the South Shore, Annapolis area.....that someone can rent out?
