Hobo Pet Hotel is a family ran and owned business located in Prophetstown, IL. Founded in 2001, we are happily turning 10 years old this coming October. Hobo is ran by Carolyn Hohenboken, alongside her husband Dr. Karl Hohenboken, the local veterinarian of Prophetstown, as well as students from Prophetstown High School, both current and alumni.
The facility offers a spacious fenced area for our furry guests to run and play. Inside the building, each guest has an idividual run that includes a water dish, a food bowl, and a mat. The floor is also heated during the winter months. The run extends outdoors, allowing our guests to enjoy both indoor and outdoor atmosphere at their own free will. A single run is designed to house one guest, however, it is not uncommon that our customers request for their pets to be placed together.
Our cat room is a seperate room for their benefit. It offers a spacious cage that is fit for any cat's needs. The room also has plenty of toys that keep cats entertained for hours. It is common that we allow our cat guests to roam about the cat room, one at a time of course, to fully utilize the space.
Indiviualized attention is always included during your pet's stay. Our employees are dedicated individuals who will love your pet just as much as you do. We make it a mission to make sure your pet is always cared for and feels as comfortable as possible. We offer baths for $20 and nail trims for $12. If your dog requires medication, we will be happy to dispense it while you are away. Hobo provides Nutro dog food, however, if your dog is on a special food or simply feels more at home with it's regular food, we are more than willing to give it it's regular food if you provide it. Since Dr. Hohenboken lives on the property that Hobo is located, we also offer the service of updating shot records during your pet's stay.

I have boarded 2 dogs, my cat and they also took my rabbit. They were taken very good care of.
