  Hey everyone, is there a 24hour emergency Vet anywhere around Keuka? My family's cottage is in Penn Yan, so the closer to PY the better. My dog had 2 Grand Mal seizures 2 weeks ago and I'd like to be prepared in case he needs emergency treatment while we're on vacation this summer. Thanks in advance for any suggestions :-)

  Eastview Vet Clinic. North of Penn Yan 315 536 9871 has 24 hour on call for emergencies. Bath Veterinary Hospital is 607 776 7686. Suggest you call there. I am not sure if they cover emergencies themselves. You are likely to find both practices very highly recommended. Nearest other vets are Geneva or Canandaigua which I think will refer you to an emergency service over an hour away in Rochester.

  So I have a bit of insomnia and in thinking about things I have a question for this group. My dog was injured last night at my home in Buffalo so I was able to take him to an emergency 24 hr vet clinic to get stitches. If I had an animal emergency at Keuka what should I do? I am on the east side of the lake . Are there 24 hr clinics in the area? What do people do if an emergency occurs with their pets? Hopefully I will never have to deal with this but I want to be prepared. Thanks for easing my mind.
