  I installed a Laminate wood floor in my home and it is very hard to tell the difference. But don't go to HomeDepot and get that cheap stuff because it's a mess. I went to Tedford Distributing and got their EZGO flooring which was just as inexpensive as Home Depot for much better quality. http://www.tedforddist.com Ask for Layman (owner) and tell them that Anthony Stephens sent you. He will give you a good price as we do a lot of business with them. As far as installation. I did it myself, and a YouTube Video. But he has good pricing on installation as well.
