  So I got ripped off by a contractor I hired to do some work. He destroyed part of my house, didn't do the work in the contract and now won't respond to phone calls. I stupidly paid him half the money up front. I need to find a decent yet not too expensive lawyer to take my case and sue him. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you.

  You can hire an attorney at an unbundled rate to get sound legal advice, help with the forms and even coaching on what to say at the small claims hearing at court. For $150 it could do a lot in your favor. PotterLawAZ.com
