  Roger D. wrote: Do not hire J S Hodge Construction out of Jonesville Mi. Jerrod Hodge is the owner. Hired for our home project and took months to get him to finally start. Had our home tore up for almost a year and then never came back to finish the job. Hired another company and they had to fix all his mistakes. Did the electrical and plumbing himself when by law he is supposed to hire a licensed electrician and plumber. Once we got into the finish phase he sent drywall and painting subs that did a horrible job. Once the painting was done we never heard back from Jerrod and have made many calls to his phone and not one answer. Wouldnt come back after we complained about the drywall job and tile work in bathroom. New contractor sent his subs to fix and they said it was horrible to. Drywall company spent 2 weeks fixing all the work Hodge did. It was a husband and wife team that did a excellent job. Then the painter was sent in and they did a great job. All in all we are out about 6500.00. That well never get back. He only cares about money and not the customer. Buyer beware do not hire unless you want ripped off and our mistake to put trust in someone. We should have never paid the last draw of 6500.00. Will be taking to court for sure. Amd another thing he was never on job. He only has 1 guy employeed. Never heard of a general contractor having only 1 guy and not once did i see jerrod until he came in to tile the bathroom which was worst tile job ive ever seen. I honestly think i could have done a better job. This is our story dont let it be your story too. Hire a reputable contractor like Morse Construction or Stoll Construction, Carbon Co. All great companys.
