  There is a local family that needs help! They have 3 daughters with epilepsy and one of them is running out of seizure medication. They don't have insurance, so they are paying out of pocket for testing, but NO doctor will write a prescription until they have an EEG done (it's already scheduled for June). Where can they go to get these medications?? I'm hoping someone knows a place they can go to!!! TIA

  Contact the epilepsy foundation of Florida. They were a tremendous help for me the short time I didn't have insurance. They will cover half the doctor visits and should know where to get help for medication.

  I want to give a special shout out to Sarah R Freeman. She came and did face painting at my sons birthday party and it was great! She does excellent work and I highly recommend her for your next party!

  The event begins at 8:00AM with registration and walk begins at 9:00AM. There are kids activities throughout. However long you would be able to help would be great.
