Have tried the AWL but they are booked out for weeks and the local vet charges twice as much for annual vaccinations. We took him to one this morning and the vet was horrible and rude, telling us that it was one particularly horrible diagnosis without even carrying out a blood test or in fact any form of test. As you can imagine, this only further added to our distress. We are looking for a friendly and caring vet, somewhere thats reasonably priced (and obviously around the Northern Area) that is good with not only the dog but also the owners.   Andrew Stone at Coomera Springs Vet is awesome. I have a friend who is a Vet (has now moved overseas) but she trained with Andrew at Uni and worked along side him after they graduated.   Penny King - Our Ridgeback x sheppard dog who is 11 years old has a tumour on her back hip. We have been told it will cost approx $960.00 to have removed. But we're not told if this op would extend her life. We wonder if anyone has been in this position.
