Friend is looking for treatment for a coworker with (what sounds like) possible manic symptoms and potentially comorbid substance use. He can private pay and is hoping for someone in downtown Boston. Any names or takers?

Might try Commonwealth Psych Associates (http://www.commpsych.com/). They have a downtown office, though I think they primarily do insurance work.
Can anyone recommend a therapist/doctor for depression and anxiety? Moving to Boston (southie probably) soon from the North shore and would like to begin seeing a therapist. Thanks.

http://www.commpsych.com is right in Copley square and I really liked it there
Recent transplant to the area looking for a local therapist who is accepting new patients Hi r/Boston! I recently moved to area and have had no trouble finding new local doctors, but I've been totally striking out on therapists. I've searched the history of this subreddit and used some of the resources recommended, but so far all of them have responded that they unfortunately don't have any openings for new patients. Does anyone know of a therapist (PsyD preferred but not required) who is awesome and has openings? Thanks!
ETA: It would be great if the therapist was female too!
