I'll be glad to proofread your work, but you probably have a friend that can do that... my true talent is in showing you how to better communicate with fewer words and more logical flow.
For graduate students: You have a group of five people contributing to one paper - I can improve the consistency of the language and check for duplication, appropriate flow, etc. so that your paper reads as a unified product.
For small business owners: You've started a website, you're creating marketing materials - Do you have any idea how distracting it can be to have a spelling or grammar error in your marketing materials, or how important the first few words on your website can be for a potential new customer? People have limited attention spans in today's world - make your moment with potential customers count.
For anyone else: If you can write it, I can make it sound better.
Rates are subject to change, but for now offering introductory rates:
$2.50/page for basic proofreading
$8/page for more extensive editing, suggestions, coaching
$10+/page for editing that requires significant research (e.g., technical writing that requires me to learn about your product or service, research online, etc.)
**$20 minimum**
