  A friend of mine owns a wholesale food business in Upstate NY. He has been working with me to send down supplies for the hurricane victims. He already has sent a 14 foot truck full of non-perishable food. He now has a company that would like to donate 35 cases of Sunchips and Pretzels packaged in snack sized bags. Also Walmart would like to donate a few pallets of blankets, sheets, towels etc. He still has to arrange for shipping which will probably happen next week. Do you have any suggestions on where these items are most needed and where I can have them sent? Thanks very much. Please private message your answer.

  Hi. I run a volunteer coalition called the Staten Island community partnership . All the existing staten island food pantries are under stocked and protein based foods are needed. There has been a breakdown in distribution and services to the existing needy and now more families are in need directly impacted by the hurricane. I also run a clothing program Suit Up , specializing in business attire and we have multiple storage sites and accepting all types if clothing.
