  I just heard the most awful news.. It seems that the Masonic Lodge in town is going up for sale.... why you ask? They have lost their tax exempt status. It seems that the Board of Selectman have made some kind of rule that does not allow the Masonic Lodge to be tax exempt anymore..I dont know all the details..but I will tell you,, if this is true.. I am so sorry for this happening.... and Id like to know what we can do about it.??.. We dont need another pizza place in town. I would like to attend a meeting and voice this concern... the Masonic Lodge has been in Farmington ever since I was born.. and that is almost 60 years...its sad. My father and three of my uncles were/are Masons here in town..along with many of my friends.. I am a proud member of the Eastern Star.. and I would like to see the Masonic Lodge stay in town.

  The minutes to meetings are available online School Board meetings on Channel 25 and live streaming. Selectmen are on Channel 26 fyi very few people ever attend and ask questions. Email addresses and phone numbers for selectmen are also on the town website and Farmington School board email addresses are available at http://www.sau61.org/school-boards
