  HELP! My car just blew! Thanks to Machens, but that's a long story. I have a warranty that will cover 1/2 of a lot of things. Pretty sure alternators shot because of the numerous jumps and dead that was caused by Machens. Hubby thinks there's a short somewhere. Even an 800 amp jumper can't get it started. So, my question is: Who would be a good certified (whatever that means) mechanic short of Ford who takes warranty insurance on this type of thing. I'm scared to death of the cost! I need to get it towed asap. It's currently sitting on the side of the road on Summit Drive. Just so any mechanics reading this...its a 2003 mustang convertible.
