Turns out it will be about $500-$600 more than I thought. So my question is do you bite the bullet and pay the money for what you like or keep looking? How in the world did you all decide on a photographer?!? I want someone who doesn't over edit the photos (where the surroundings look fake), who can catch amazing candid photos, and for less than $3500 total for at least 8 hours of coverage for the wedding day, an engagement session, and digital negatives for both.   Veronica, if you have found someone you really like, I would urge you to pay the extra money and go with them. However, there are a lot of great options within your budget. I agree with the suggestions above: Bill Roop, KLP, K Hannah, Tracy Shoopman, Alex Bee and Break the Mold are all great!
