I have a seven-year-old boy who I want to start on a Martial Arts class. Any recommendations or ones to avoid? We can't do weekends so are looking for an evening/late afternoon class during the week.

Looking for after school programs/ childcare for my 4th grader, what suggestions do you have?
Rebecca C. replied:
I suggest giving Wushu Unlimited a call. I know they even pick up from some schools in the Monrovia and Sierra Madre areas. My fourth-grader goes there after school and learns discipline through martial arts and as a bonus picks up Mandarin as a second language. They help with homework and have snack time. Feel free to check them out at www.wushuunlimited.com
I am in need of after school care for my 6 yr old asap does any one know a good place?
Rebecca C. replied:
If you'd like her to learn a second language like Mandarin (Chinese) or some self defense you could look into Wushu Unlimited. They are at 236 West Maple Avenue in Monrovia. (626) 305-5888 I also know they pick up children from schools in Monrovia.
