Is there anywhere locally to buy cannoli's or Italian cream cake?

I'll be posting a pitch for the Italian Club of Dallas' Easter Bake Sale soon. It is March 18 th at the club and it starts at 12:00. As soon as I get a list and some prices you'll be able to pre-order with me and pick it up at my Flower Mound office. Authentic Italian cookies, cakes, pies, etc and there just may be some frozen lasagna in there, too. All baked by members and better than the pastries I remember back in the northeast. Last Bake Sale sold out in a few hours. Stand by or PM me and I'll put you on the list. The Italian Club of Dallas is a non-profit organization. italianclubdallas.org
Good restaurant recommendation for tonight. Nothing really expensive or really cheap

If none of these fine choices appeal to you, consider the Italian Club of Dallas tonight. 4 courses. Appetizer is stuffed mushroom with fried zucchini, the pasta dish is fusilli puttanesca, the main course is chicken saltimbocca and desert is cannoli, all prepared by our award winning chefs. $28 non member or $20 member price. All imported wine is priced ridiculously low and certainly not restaurant prices. Sitting is family style (hey, we're all family when it comes to dinnertime), you'll meet some interesting people and you WILL NOT go away hungry. https://www.facebook.com/ItalianClubDallas
Friday night is Cena night at the Italian Club of Dallas. Real Italians, real Italian food, real Italian wine. Family style and cheap. https://www.facebook.com/ItalianClubDallas
Does anyone know a place near here that has REAL Italian cookies and pastries like Cassata cake?
Al D. replied:
Linda McAvoy Johnston you can get an idea of it at http://www.italianclubdallas.org/ . They may also have a FB page. Best thing is to try a Cena (family seated dinner) on a Friday night and you won't be disappointed at the food, price or camaraderie. It's a club-like atmosphere. They have Italian wines but no liquor so BYO hard stuff if that's what you like. Guest chef's weekly, occasional entertainment. Located close to Belt Line and Inwood, the timing of the commute is sometimes tricky. And don't worry, if you like Italian cookies, you can spend a fortune at their bake sale! ;-)

If you could wait a bit longer, on December 12 th the Italian Club of Dallas will hold their cookie sale. Baked by the member/volunteers, these are the most authentic tasting cookies I've had in ages.
