  Before you call anyone out check it's not a child catch! We had a Bosch dishwasher from my in laws which had a dodgy child lock catch which made door opening difficult! Eventually it cracked the handle as we had to exert so much pressure to open it and we used reflex services to fix it then & would thoroughly recommend - but it's worth a check first!
