About us
Mother of 4, working full time, and following my inner baking passion.
The passion for baking came out of necessity really. Making good quality cakes for my 4 munchkins can be costly so I started baking for fun and I got good at it over time.
Baking allowed me to get creative again - something I've lost sight of when becoming a 'parent' and keeping up with the responsibilities that come with that privilege. (I'm an artsy by nature so creativity is pretty important to me).
So, in baking and decorating cakes, the opportunity for creativity is limitless.
In homage to my al ma mater and my studies as a classical pianist, Ode to Joy Cakes was born.
