  Not horse related..but I need some help. I have a friend that just rescued a pig. She has a ring in her nose. My friend wants to have to ring removed but her vet is 20 minutes away and won't come to her house. She's located in Hazel green Al. Does anyone know a vet that would to a house call to sedate and remove the ring? TIA!

  http://www.berryanimalhospital.com/ It's a bit of a drive, but they are always really nice, can board, and I have been taking various animals there for years. Even after moving to huntsville from toney, I still make the drive. They also have some cool "shop cats" that hang around and are all animal friendly.
