  Hi all, I need a little help. I am due for my 12,000 mile service on my 2012 r1200GS. (I bought it a year ago with 5 miles, that's why so low mileage). Not knowing where in the country I would be, I couldn't plan for it. I'm going to be in Seattle today and tomorrow, then Portland until Monday, then going down the Cali coast after that. I called a bunch of dealers and shops with no luck. At the very least I need to do an oil change but don't have a filter tool. Does anyone know where I can get service, parts or go to do the oil change? I can have oil and filter shipped if need be, or go somewhere that someone can help me do the work. Thanks in advance!

  Alyx Guth of Alyx Moto is one of the best BMW mechanics around and his shop is in the Seattle area. Highly recommended if you don't want to do the work yourself. If you're just looking for parts, Ride West BMW is in Seattle. http://alyxmoto.com/

  Lynwood was OK the one time I went there. Just double-check everything. They like to promise on the phone, then not have what they promised after you drive/ride an hour to get there. Alyxmoto INC. is great, but he's great enough to always have a jam-packed calendar.
