I'm looking for a new backpack since my shoulders are giving up from carrying my tablet around so often. Would appreciate any store recs :D!

if you don't want a crumpler, I'd potentially check out Tom Binh ( https://www.tombihn.com/ ) or this http://www.goruck.com/gr1-rucksack-black-/p/GEAR-000574
Any recommendations for a gym/duffel bag with a dedicated laptop compartment? Campus is a bit far from where I'll be staying, so it'd be nice to have everything on hand. Cheers!

Not a duffel per se, but the best laptop bags I've ever had were [Tom Bihn](https://www.tombihn.com) and some of their travel bags might work for you. I bought my first Tom Bihn bag ten years ago and it's still holding up. I bought a second (since I wanted a backpack instead of a messenger bag) a couple years later and if it wasn't stolen, it would still be my go-to bag today.
Lawyers of BIFL, recommendation on a briefcase please! My girlfriend is a lawyer and I would love to get her a new briefcase. She just started with a new firm and her birthday is in 2 weeks. I would love to get her something nice like this as she's pretty much doing so much now with the new firm. She is a BIG organizer so something that would absolutely fit everything she needs. She does bring a laptop with her so something that would fit that as well would be great. Thanks!!

Attorney here. Tom Bihn has some great briefcases, messenger bags, and travel bags. I use a Western Flyer as my briefcase when I go to court. If your girlfriend values functionality over style (i.e. something classic and leather), then go with Tom Bihn. http://www.tombihn.com/
