  Hi every one - I am looking for some advise, one of our dogs the 235lb one ! has a UTI, she is on antibiotics, but she is still urinating. I have tried to source doggie dippers for her, but I cant seem to find any to fit ( usual - manufactures don't cater much to our lovely breed !) Any suggestions are greatly appreciated !

  Belly Bands allows you to use Poise pads - they fit around my 180 lb AM belly just fine, but I am using it to hold on a wound dressing, not for incontinence. http://www.bellybands.net/

  The bellybands website: https://www.bellybands.net/ Just management, but imo, provides more freedom for the determined marker than crating/being always tethered to a person.

  I've found using belly bands to be remarkably effective in situations like this. No discomfort to the dog unless they do try to go the bathroom, and then they find the wetness close to the body distasteful. I think the only other option I've really heard of is absolute vigilance of the crating/outside, etc. type. While I'm sure this will be controversial, and I'm happy to learn an alternative, my impression is this is one of those areas where positive reinforcement doesn't work as well, since 1) the dog finds marking reinforcing and often wants to do it regardless of whether he has access to an appropriate spot to go to the bathroom and 2) it's not a situation the lends itself easily to a replacement behavior.
