  Last year, after one AC company failed to fix my unit but charged me $700 in the process, I found John Devine of Air Conditioning and Dallas Construction (A.C.D.C) at 214 502 7620. He is a straight-shooter and will explain everything and more to you so that you have tools with which to evaluate what other AC co's are telling you. It would be worth it to get his opinion and advice before purchasing. He's local here in Richardson.
