  Hello, everyone. I'll be arriving in Beijing this Monday for a two year stay. I'm considering the Wangjing area of Beijing due to its close proximity to my job. Does anyone have any recommendations about this or other areas? Any restaurant, HH spots, parks, hikes, or camping locations would also be greatly appreciated. In addition, if anyone knew any meet up groups, that would be cool, too.

  Cool area, but mostly business. I Used to shop at walmart there when I stayed 3 miles east of the area. It's not terribly far from http://www.798 district.com/ in Dashanzi area.
