  Looking to sign up for Lake Placid this week. However, I want to see how much local hotels will cost (willing to drive). Searched online (Expedia) and it says that hotels are not available. Assume that is due to being almost a year away. Any advice? Looking to pay 200/night or under Friday-Monday.

  Schulte's Family Lodge...Paid around $582.75 for 5 nights...2 miles from the finish...1 room with 2 beds ....518-523-3532....can't have room # 4, it's already booked....tell her I sent you there....I've been going there for about the last 10 Ironman....good luck...
