About us
I've always been passionate about photography and studied art & photography at College. I'm very much a people's person and it's fantastic to be able to combine this with my creative skills.
I love weddings, everything about them, from my own to now capturing excited Brides and nervous Grooms on their own special day. From the frantic buzz of getting ready, to the Brides anticipation as she is about to walk down the isle. The joy, the laughter, and sometime even the tears are all saved forever by the photographs I've taken. I love what I do.
My style is traditional, with a modern feel and but it can also be modern with a fun twist, it really depends on the couple.
Every couple and their wedding is completely different to me even if I have work at the wedding venue before.
I like to meet with the Bride & Groom at least twice, including once at the venue where they will get married. It gives me a real feel for what they like and I find this gets the best photos on the day.
I believe one of the most important elements of a wedding photographer is to have the ability to communicate well. Not everyone likes getting their photo taken and I put all guests, from the Great Auntie to the little Page boy, at ease and know they're an important part of the day.
I always work with an Assistant, who's is on hand to help make sure no shoulder pads are popping out, all ties are straight, and the Bride's hair and make up is perfect. They ensure guest are ready for group photos and this helps to stay on schedule.
I work closely with the staff on site to secure smooth day. I go above and beyond and carry a magic bag of tricks (I have sewn a Bride into her dress after a last minute rip) to make sure the only hitch on your day is you getting hitched.
