Faden Design Studios is the lifelong dream of Romy McCloskey, and the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. Specializing in couture costume design, hand embroidery and embellishments, Faden Design Studios boasts a wide breadth of work: from, screen accurate and historical replicas to original designs for television, film and theater. Every piece is made to order with the finest attention to detail, meticulously sewn by hand. We would love to talk to you about your special project and how we can help bring it to life for you.

About Romy McCloskey
Originally from Connecticut, Romy McCloskey graduated from the acclaimed Savannah College of Art and Design, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design, concentrating on high end couture and costume design. Both before and after attending college, Romy worked in NYC designing womens wear and gowns for special occasion.
She now resides and designs in The Woodlands, Texas. Her studio is filled with colorful fabrics which she uses to make one of a kind, award winning, couture gowns, corsets and costumes for her clients worldwide.
