About us
Rebecca Sidwell RVN CVPhys (ESVPS) is a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist, who works to rehabilitate horses and dogs from injury and to enhance performance.
I have worked in the veterinary field for 10 years as a qualified Veterinary Nurse. Working in large and small animal practices, including small animal orthopaedic referral.
In 2008 I started to train as a Veterinary Physiotherapist at the Nottingham Vet School. Completing the course with distinction, March 2010.
I have a great passion for horses, I have ridden and competed at a high level in Western since a young child, for which one of my greatest achievements was competing as part of the British youth team in Texas. I have bred and backed my own horses and it was this experience that lead into physiotherapy. I wanted to achieve the best from my horses with an in depth knowledge of anatomy and the ability to prevent injury and maintain physical ability. I am currently bringing on my 4yr old which I hope will be my first reiner....watch this space.
