About us

Nashville Metro Parks Music presents the Big Band Dances held on Saturday nights June - August (except the Saturday closest to July 4th). Event runs from 7:00 to 10:00 PM with live music and free group ballroom dance lessons provided by Nashville Ballroom & Company from 7:00 to 7:30 and 8:30 to 8:50. Bring your lawn chair and come hungry - there are food trucks on site whose proceeds help support free events like this. Sponsors: Tennessee Arts Commission, Musician's Performance Trust Fund, Nashville Ballroom & Dance Company, and Arts In The Parks.
