We need someone to move a couch and loveseat from one part of Needham to our home. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced mover (or 2 strong guys with a truck) who could help?

Try gladlydo.com. Needham college kids that do almost anything.
I am looking to hire someone to shovel out my car for this potential coming storm on Saturday into Sunday and then also for any storm after that. Any recommendations on how to find someone?
Brendan G. replied:
Check out Gladlydo.com, it's a local odd job company that basically sends a high school or college student out to do any of a million things...plus the owner is south Boston resident.
I need to dissemble and move some furniture from the second floor to the basement. There is a pretty heavy desk, a twin bed, and some drawers.
I will need 2 people with insurance for a reasonable price.
Would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks!

have you checked out tty Gladlydo.com...started by a Needham resident ... a site that matches jobs with prescreened workers, usually college students

I've used GladlyDo. Excellent choice.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! GladlyDo really appreciates the hometown support! :)
My son needs movers to help move furniture from Needham to his new apartment in Cleveland Circle - preferably afternoon of Sept. 1, but Sept 2 is also possible. Any suggestions?
In need of a babysitter for just an hour or two tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. I'm moving out so I don't have any toys at my house so I would prefer to drop off at someone's house to play. My boys are 2.5 and 4. Please pm me if you have any leads or are able to help. These are the times I wish there were drop off day cares in the area! Thanks!!
