  Short-term affordable accomodation near Westwood/UCLA area? My friend and I are Irish students travelling to Los Angeles next week for the Summer. We're looking for accomodation in or near Westwood, as it is very close to our jobs and also close to UCLA, where we thought it would make it easier to meet new people (we know next to no one in the city). Ideally we'd like to stay in a UCLA fraternity, but they don't seem to take in international students until mid/late June. So we're trying to find cheap accommodation until then (roughly 3 weeks). I've searched the internet and can't find any affordable apartments that don't have a minimum 3 month lease, and I can't find any hostels in the area either. Our budget is max $50 each per night, does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Alternatively, are there any other affordable neighbourhoods (not too far from Westwood) that would be good for students looking to meet new people? Thanks LA!
