  Wally friends they are located in Chattanooga tn but they have a drop off once a month here in Rome and they take the animal over night and bring them back next morning! You have to call 706-235-2306 leave a message and the lady will call you back within 2 days . For dogs up to 50 lbs is $65 and that includes rabies shot .

  Wally's Friends is a GREAT option. You have to drop them off early one morning and pick them up early the next. Call The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) at 706-235-2306 & leave a message. http://www.wallysfriends.com/transportmap.htm For dogs, it $45 for spay or neuter. You must be able to document rabies vaccination or else they can provide for $12. I used them for my teeny chihuahua and LOVED them.

  I would like to say again that I am willing to help anyone that has any animals that need a place to go till they find a home or need a home in general to find the best home. Please people just contact people who can help. I do not profit off helping people. I simply do this for the animals and their well being because I do not want to see anymore in the shelter and I figured if I don't help much in the shelter by rescuing then the best I can do is try to reduce the amount that go in so the ones who are in might have a better chance at finding a forever home. Please contact me if you need help whatever the reason. I am here to help as much as I can and just hate to see the animals go to the pound because a better alternative wasn't reached and or someone is afraid to reach for it. Thanks
