  Just been burgled in Harborne. Gillhurst Road. In through the back window at first floor, searched all the upper floor rooms and taken jewellery, watches, cash etc. Firstly everyone be vigilant... Secondly does anyone know an emergency glazier? Any help would be appreciated!

  www.police.uk loads breakins type in your postcode. They always tend to break in through top windows as they think their is no alarm sensors in top bedrooms !

  No it is really problematic as is known by police and the other problematic area is Windsor Close Hayling Island... personally if you have a choice stay well away

  I've lived in the maisonettes in the private road next to the shades for the last 7 years. Seemed to be alot of police visits in the first few years but since most of the crescent is now private it's improved exponentially. Those that wonder past in their Pj's are always polite, never had any problems & it's a great location.

  Hi, I am looking for a house in Cardiff now and would like to get some advise from people who live here for a long time. Can you please let me know which area should young family avoid and which are best? We need a quiet place with good schools and decent neighbours. We don't mind whether it's far from Centre or not. Just want a good place to live where 10 year old boy will not ask me to buy weed from him at 10 o'clock in the morning in my local supermarket, where mums actually change from their pyjamas to take children to chool and all that staff... We are currently considering Roath Park (despite the fact that the house is quite tiny), Rumney ( we know nothing about this area) and Canton. What else is worth considering and what to avoid? I would be very grateful for any tip. Thanks

  I was born and grew up in Roath and would never go back there some parts of Roath Park maybe ok but I would suggest visiting at different times of the day/night and different days to get a good picture - if thats possible. You could also try using this to get an idea but cities are always going to have crime. Good Luck https://www.police.uk/
