  There are plenty, fortunately. I lived there for 12 years, and was able to find a vegan dish at nearly every restaurant, including: Friendly Toast; 5 Thai Bistro; Portsmouth Brewery; The Street; Ceres Bakery; Dos Amigos Burritos; The Juicery; Portsmouth Health Food Store; Flatbread pizza; Martingale Wharf; Shio; Bagel Works. I found most restaurants vegan-friendly, and most were receptive to questions, and wanted to accommodate my needs. Enjoy!
