  Uni gym is poorly equipped (no squat rack, you get told off for deadlifting etc.) but cheap at about 110 for the year or free with halls. Lions gym is better equipped and providing you just want the gym costs £20 a month, or for more money you can take martial arts classes. Fitness first is about 30 or so a month and is the best equipped gym by far. The city sports centre has access to various things like a swimming pool.
