  We have some kind of hawk in our backyard this morning on the ground. Been there for a couple of hours and hasn't moved much. Not sure what type of injuries it may have, if any. As soon as I let the dog out this morning he started growling and barking, so I brought him back in. Didn't seem to phase the bird tho. Any suggestions on who to call for removal?

  You might try raptorinc.org. They rehabilitate Hawks, owls, Eagles etc and have learning experiences for children and groups. You might also want to contact Red Wolf Sanctuary. I believe they have some birds but also wolves, foxes, coyotes etc. very cool program!
