  Help needed. Hope it's ok to ask here Lynn . We live by the museumplein. They have finally finished the pavement and road outside our house. I want to deter bikes from being parked by the tree and dogs using it as a toilet. So I was thinking a little fence and plants. BUT what can be planted that doesn't need a lot of looking after? My downstairs neighbour agreed to my plan but said he wouldn't help watering it (fair enough!) I am not a gardener.. Every plant I touch dies! What grows best in this sandy soil??
