  Looking for a groomer for my fur baby Maggie. Maggie is spoiled rotten and very sensitive, that being said, need a groomer who is not just doing there job but loves there clients. I want a licensed groomer. I know I may sound a little crazy but... I guess I am when it comes to her. I've heard of a few location which the owners were not satisified( one cut ear on dog and another shaved so closely they bled) so your advice will be greatly appreciated.   Hello everyone. So I just called the dog groomer who I usually take my dog to and was told that she is not cooperative, therefore, they recommend me to take her either to petco or pet smart, that maybe they can sedate her and that there's vets present. Any experiences with any of these places?

  I have been charged extra for Bullet, told he was difficult to groom, and he's gotten hurt getting groomed because he moved too much. I took him to Divine Canine and they had no problem with him. I highly recommend them. I wouldn't recommend sedation. There's always a risk and it's unnecessary. You can try lavender essential oil. One drop rubbed on each ear. Lavender is naturally soothing.

  Divine canine is great!....ya just have to wait too long for an appt...if you can wait ok...if not then might have to go somewhere else....they charge $45 for small dog?...doesn't matter if dog is 5 or 25 lbs...I have a teacup Yorkie and a Lhasa apso and they are each 45$
