  Hello Ardmore neighbors! My 80 year old mom with Alzheimer's Disease is moving from her apartment in Pittsburgh to a superfabulous assisted living place in Des Moines, IA near my sister. I am my mom's POA and I'm looking for recommendations for both legal and financial advice. Does anyone have any family and/or elder law people that they recommend? What about certified financial advisors? Thanks for any help you can provide. This forum has been so helpful for me in the past.

  May we suggest Thompson & Surratt Attorneys they specialize in these types of things. They were awesome in setting up trust funds and such when my wife's grandmother passed away and before she passed had set up financial investments for her so that she would have a monthly income from those investments. They were also recently voted one of the best by the Winston Salem Journal Readers Choice 2015 they are located downtown in the Wachovia Building on 22 nd Floor.
