  A family member is in the process of getting out of an abusive relationship with an alcoholic and is looking for a shelter or something for him to stay at so he will leave her house. He has a vehicle and a few places have said no. Any recommendations?

  

  Emily R. replied:

  Call the YWCA in Bremerton! 1-800-500-5513. They can help her safety plan, talk about protection orders (which will force him to leave the house the same day it's filed, he will be arrested if he does not leave or if he comes back), and anything else she needs. 2-1-1 might have ideas of where he can go but its really not her job to find somewhere for him to go.
