  I'm looking for affordable before and after school care for my 7 year old son (730-6) The YMCA and Webster Rec Center both want $400 a month which would defeat the purpose of switching my schedule for a better job. It's awful that something as basic as a couple of hours of childcare would cost so much that it actually discourages moms from working decent jobs. Any suggestions or leads are very much appreciated.

  Depends on what you want to charge. I believe it's only 3 children you can watch if your mot registered/licensed. You can't have more than 2 infants though. It's definitely worth it if your able to get registered/licensed. If you want more info you could go to the childcarecouncil.com
